Tribute From Leo Sayer
Here's the fab video of Leo Sayer singing the Minder theme 'I Could Be So Good For You' which he recorded and filmed especially for the amazing 'One Mo Time' memorial concert for bassist Mo Foster held at 229 venue on Monday. When Ray Russell, Paul Brett and I started planning the show back in the summer I knew there was only one person who could fill the shoes of the late Dennis Waterman who sang the original back in 1979. I contacted Leo who now lives in Australia, he's such a good pal and trooper that he sent the finished video back in two days flat. Big thanks to him and to record producer Chris Neil who was meant to introduce it onstage but was unable to do so at the last minute so I stepped in for him. Just so pleased it went down so well, enjoy!! -David Stark
